HOW TO USE A MULTIMETER: IN-LINE AMMETER

<

Multimeters are devices that combine multiple electrical measurement functions in one unit. These instruments typically measure voltage, electric current and resistance. In order to get the most from a multimeter, you have to understand the readings it gives you.

Sales and Service Engineer Larry Rambeaux demonstrates how to measure amperage with an in-line ammeter. Before you can accurately use a multimeter, you have to understand what is being measured and what the measurements should be.

Purkeys has developed multiple training programs to help technicians better understand the proper use of a multimeter. Learn more about Purkeys’ training programs by clicking here.
