Kenny George is an electrical engineer with interests in a variety of areas (such as resonant converter topologies, modeling and control of power converter systems and devices, and electric vehicle applications). He spent 7 years combined in academic and industrial research and development of power converter solutions before deciding to join the Purkeys team where he could work closer to end-users and vehicle markets. He also earned his PhD in power electronics—specifically, in novel resonant converter topologies and methods of control for electric vehicle battery management systems. Since joining the Purkeys team, he has been excitedly working to help Purkeys continue to develop exceptional power solutions for our customers.
Kenny is an avid craft beer and home brewing enthusiast. He loves to use his engineering skills and creativity when brewing his home masterpieces. When traveling, he enjoys sampling local breweries and gastro-pubs.
Backpacking and mountaineering with his wife and daughter are also hobbies that Kenny enjoys. He loves to explore the local Arkansas mountains, as well as travel to mountain ranges further from home.
