Jimmy has been with our Purkeys family since he was 16. Having grown up in the trucking industry, he has been a part of everything. He started by tearing down alternators and starters, then over time moved up the ranks through many other roles and responsibilities. From the get-go, Jimmy’s driven attitude has pushed him to give a 110% to everything he touches. He has learned and grown and become an extremely knowledgeable expert in the field. His unique talents make him a valuable addition to our sales team and a great support to our customers.

One of Jimmy’s many passions is fishing! A hobby started in his youth, Jimmy spent nearly every weekend on the water with his friends and family. He loved it even when they didn’t catch anything, as the best part is just being out on the water! Over the years, he has fished numerous kinds of fish and he loves all types of fishing. Jimmy now shares this passion with his son, taking every opportunity he can to teach his son the skills he has learned over the years.

Family is extremely important to Jimmy and he loves both traveling with them and spending quiet weekends at home. He particularly loves spending Christmas with his family—they have developed special Christmas traditions and he loves making sure his family has a great holiday.
