Purkeys Expands Sales Team to Better Support Customers

Purkeys recently added some new members to its sales team – Bob Mitchell, David Arriaga, and Columbus Calley. These new sales team members will serve as account managers and will assist Purkeys to continue to provide quality support to customers.

It has been difficult to meet with customers over the past year due to COVID-19, but now that travel restrictions are easing, the Purkeys sales team will once again resume meeting with its customers in person.

To assure quality support is available in all areas of the country, Purkeys added the three new account managers. “We are excited to expand our team to include additional, very talented, customer-oriented representatives that love to help fleets solve their problems,” said Jerel Ellis, Purkeys sales manager.

Larry Rambeaux and Jimmy Fielding, Purkeys sales application engineers and long-time veterans of the sales team, are pleased that the new members of the group are motivated and dedicated to doing all they can to make customers happy.

“All new team members have previous experience in the heavy-duty trucking industry and are familiar with many Purkeys customers,” said Rambeaux. “Their familiarity with the industry will allow them to provide strong support to existing customers, as well as help the team build new relationships in the industry.”

Mitchell will cover the southeastern region of the U.S. His previous experience in the trucking industry and with heavy-duty batteries makes his expertise invaluable to the Purkeys team.

Arriaga will focus on the western region of the U.S. Previously, Arriaga worked in heavy-duty trailer sales and his understanding of fleet trailer needs will add extreme value in serving Purkeys customers.

Calley has been part of the Purkeys technical service team; his transition to cover the central U.S. region will benefit customers greatly, as he possesses a strong understanding of Purkeys products and technical knowledge. His experience working with technicians to troubleshoot issues will add value in understanding customer needs.
