The 2020 Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual meeting is quickly approaching! It will be held this year in Atlanta, GA on February 24-27. As you know, the purpose of the council is to improve transport equipment, its maintenance, and maintenance management. The council develops recommended engineering and maintenance practices that are voluntarily adopted by fleets, OEMs, and components suppliers.
As such, attending TMC is one of the best ways to keep up with changes in our industry, as well as best practices and procedures.
At Purkeys, we have great team members who strive to support the council by providing their expertise and input on recommended practices. For example, a current proposed recommended practice some of our team members have been working with is RP 187, which includes guidelines for fifth wheel ground strap installation.
However, our hands-down favorite part of attending the conference is the opportunity to network with leading industry peers and learn what kinds of issues fleets are having in relation to battery maintenance and charging. We love having the chance to help resolve some of those issues!
TMC is a fantastic event and we’d love to see you there. Battery problems are everyone’s problems, so we’d love to share our expertise and help make your fleet more efficient. Come by our booth, #4332, and let’s talk!
